The uMkhonto WeSizwe Party (MK Party), South Africa’s third-largest political party, is expanding its Communications Division and is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Production Manager to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Align production activities with the party’s strategic communication goals.
- Manage and provide hands-on technical support to production teams, including videographers, editors, sound engineers, and technical crew.
- Oversee and actively participate in filming, editing, and post-production processes to ensure high production standards.
- Supervise and coordinate live event coverage, ensuring seamless execution of technical aspects such as lighting, sound, and multi-camera operations.
- Work with external production partners, freelancers, and agencies to enhance content production capabilities.
- Provide regular reports on production progress, challenges, and solutions to the Communications Department.
Requirements & Skills:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Film Production, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in media production, broadcast, or event production management.
- Expertise in industry-standard editing and production software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
- Strong experience in live broadcasting and multi-camera productions.
- Ability to manage multiple production projects simultaneously to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of camera operations, lighting setups, sound engineering, and post-production workflows.
