The Media team of uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY announces the Accreditation Procedure and Liaison for the launch of the MK Party People’s Mandate

The Media team of the uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY hereby invite all journalists (print, radio, television, film, news agencies and online media) who are on assignment for a bona fide media organization to register and be accredited for the uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY People’s Mandate Launch that will take place on Saturday, 18th May 2024 at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg, Soweto.

This media accreditation process is open to all journalists and serves to register media in a transparent, consistent, and fair manner, with a view to ensuring a well-managed event.

Media accreditation is required for all journalists, photographers, and videographers who wish to attend the uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY People’s Mandate Launch in-person. To receive accreditation, media must be able to present Government Identity Document (ID) along with a business card and/or a letter requesting accreditation on official letterhead of a media organization, signed by the Publisher, Editor-in-chief, or Assignment Editor (along with their contact information).

Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis and the decisions of the Media team of the uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY are final. If the individual does not meet the requirements for accreditation, they may still view the event broadcast online. The broadcast will be a live webcast and may also be downloaded after the launch from the uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY website, www.mkparty.org.za

Online media

Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis and the decisions of Media team of the uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY are final. If an idividual does not meet the requirements for accreditation, they may still view the hearing broadcast online.

The Media team of the uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY reserves the right to deny or withdraw accreditation of journalists from media organizations who abuse the privileges so extended, put the accreditation to improper use, or act in a way not consistent with the principles of the Media team of the uMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY.
