The uMkhonto WeSizwe Party (MK Party), South Africa’s third-largest political party, is expanding its Communications Division and is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Photo & Videographer to join our dynamic team.
If you have expertise in visual storytelling, multimedia production, and digital content creation, this is your opportunity to contribute to shaping the party’s media strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos for media, promotional content, and events.
- Edit and process visual content to meet professional standards for digital and print distribution.
- Work closely with the Communications and Media Liaison teams to ensure visual content aligns with the party’s message and strategic goals.
- Assist in creating multimedia content for social media platforms, including video clips, infographics, and photo stories.
- Maintain and manage a digital archive of all photos and videos for easy access and retrieval.
- Ensure all visual content adheres to the MK Party’s branding guidelines and visual identity.
- Support the coordination and logistics of on-site photography and video shoots during party events, press briefings, and public appearances.
- Oversee live broadcasting and multi-camera productions for key party events and announcements.
Requirements & Skills:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Photography, Videography, Multimedia Production, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in media production, broadcast, or event production management.
- Expertise in industry-standard editing and production software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
- Experience in live broadcasting, multi-camera productions, and advanced video editing techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple production projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Strong ability to develop compelling visual narratives that align with the MK Party’s messaging and public engagement strategy.
