The uMkhonto WeSizwe Party (MK Party), South Africa’s third-largest political party, is expanding its Communications Division and is looking for two highly skilled Graphic Designers to join our dynamic team.
If you have a passion for impactful visual storytelling, political branding, and digital engagement, this is your opportunity to contribute to shaping the party’s communication strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging graphics for social media, websites, print materials, and event promotions.
- Develop branded materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters, and campaign banners.
- Transform complex political and strategic information into compelling visual content.
- Collaborate with the Digital Content Manager to optimize graphics for online campaigns.
- Ensure brand consistency across all designs, adhering to MK Party’s branding guidelines.
- Create motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns and video content.
- Revise and refine graphics based on feedback while maintaining fresh and relevant designs.
Requirements & Skills:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in communications, marketing, or political environments.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Strong visual storytelling skills aligned with the MK Party’s messaging and public engagement strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced political environment.
- Team player with a keen eye for detail and adaptability to evolving political messaging.
