The uMkhonto WeSizwe Party (MK Party), South Africa’s third-largest political party, is expanding its Communications Division and is looking for two highly skilled Graphic Designers to join our dynamic team.

If you have a passion for impactful visual storytelling, political branding, and digital engagement, this is your opportunity to contribute to shaping the party’s communication strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design engaging graphics for social media, websites, print materials, and event promotions.
  • Develop branded materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters, and campaign banners.
  • Transform complex political and strategic information into compelling visual content.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Content Manager to optimize graphics for online campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all designs, adhering to MK Party’s branding guidelines.
  • Create motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns and video content.
  • Revise and refine graphics based on feedback while maintaining fresh and relevant designs.

Requirements & Skills:

  • National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in communications, marketing, or political environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills aligned with the MK Party’s messaging and public engagement strategy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced political environment.
  • Team player with a keen eye for detail and adaptability to evolving political messaging.
